The Earth from Space?

Interviewed on BBC Radio 4 in June 2010, Britsh born NASA Astronaut Dr Nicholas Patrick has revealed details about the state-of-the-art lavatory on board the International Space Station.

He explained that it has recently been moved from the lab into the Node 3 'Tranquility' area of the station. 'Tranquility' has had a bay window, called the 'Cupula', fitted and now offers panoramic views of Planet Earth below.

Could this be it? The ultimate loo with a view? A toilet with a view of the Earth from space? Sadly, it seems that the loo may have a door which prevents this. However, Dr Patrick did reveal that the view through the window is visible while using the gym.
